SLOVAKIA is among the best EU member states when it comes to adopting EU directives regarding the functioning of the EU internal market, the TASR news agency wrote.
According to data published by the European Commission (EC) on July 18, Slovakia is yet to approve just 1.4 percent or 22 of the directives concerned. Along with another 10 EU members, Slovakia is within the 1.5 percent target for un-adopted directives, the TASR news agency wrote.
The best record in adopting EU directives has been achieved by Lithuania, Hungary, and Slovenia, which each need to approve another 0.7 percent of the directives.
The worst results were in Italy (4.1 percent), and Luxembourg (4 percent). Among new EU member states, the Czech Republic has the worst record with 3.6 percent or 57 missing directives.
