SLOVAKIA sent a humanitarian aid to Bulgaria. The country has asked the European Union for help after it reported an increase in the number of illegal immigrants, especially from Syria.

The country sent to Bulgaria stretchers with mattresses, blankets, plastic containers for food, plastic spoons and vacuum bottles, said Peter Lazarov from the Foreign Affairs Ministry press department, as reported by the TASR newswire.

Bulgarian offices in Sofia will receive the humanitarian aid on October 21, TASR wrote.
