SLOVAKIA will establish a new consulate in the United Kingdom, in the city of Manchester, by May 31, 2012, the SITA newswire reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the new consulate will ease the work of Slovakia’s embassy in London which is one of the busiest foreign offices that Slovakia currently has, dealing mostly with needs of Slovaks who are living temporarily or permanently in the UK.
SITA wrote that the new consulate will also help with services and preparations for Slovakia’s participation in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in London.
