The growth of consumer prices in Slovakia measured according to the EU methodology decelerated in January 2012.
According to the Slovak Statistics Office (ŠÚ), annual growth in consumer prices measured by the harmonised index of consumer process (HICP) reached 4.1 percent in the first month of this year, a fall of 0.5 percentage points compared with December 2011.
