The rate of registered unemployment in Slovakia increased by 0.4 percentage points on a monthly basis as of the end of September to 12.45 percent, as reported by the Central Office of Labour, Social affairs and Family, SITA wrote.
On an annual basis, the jobless rate in Slovakia increased 4.91 percentage points in the ninth month of this year. Labour offices registered 329,860 unemployed that could immediately start working at the end of September; this was up by 10,493 month-to-month and by 133,162 year-on-year.
