"We're in contact with Russian authorities and we're monitoring the situation," he said.

Slovak actors Ľuboš Kostelný and Zuzana Fialová were reported to have been at the airport at the time of the blast.

"We were near the explosion, it threw Zuzka on the ground," Kostelný told TASR, adding that she is not seriously injured.

He said that the explosion took place shortly upon their arrival in Moscow.

The bomb blast at the airport's arrivals section killed more than 30 people and some 130 were injured. The suicide bomber is thought to have been from the northern Caucasus, TASR wrote.
