Slovaks visit Mexico visa-free from mid-October

SLOVAK citizens will be allowed to travel to Mexico without visas as of October 16, the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

According to a diplomatic note confirming the cancellation of visa duty for holders of Slovak passports exchanged by the respective foreign ministries' senior officials in Bratislava on July 19, no visa will be needed for tourist visits to Mexico shorter than 90 days.

A visa is still required by Mexico's neighbour to the north, the USA, the news wire TASR wrote.
