While Czechs work 43 hours a week, the longest workweek in the EU, the average Slovak puts in 41 hours. The average EU citizen works 37.9 hours.
The Dutch spend the least time at work, a mere 31.4 hours according to the Eurostat data, or six hours a day on average compared to 8.5 hours in the Czech Republic.
