THE OPPOSTION Smer party will propose a vote of no confidence in Health Minister Rudolf Zajac in January 2006.
According to Smer the minister has opened the health sector to private financial groups who are only interested in privatization and profits, the daily SME reported.
However, Smer still lacks the necessary 76 votes to recall the minister. According to Fico, however, some of the coalition members might support the initiative.
The coalition parties are not surprised at Smer's latest plan but consider it to be a "political game", according to the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union MP Viliam Novotný.
