THE HUNGARIAN Coalition Party (SMK) insists on the departure of Vladimír Šimko, the spokesman of the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) and head of the SIS Office, in association with the leak of information regarding corruption suspicions at the Agriculture Ministry, the daily SME wrote.
SMK boss Béla Bugár said that SIS Director Ladislav Pittner would lose the confidence of the SMK if he failed to dismiss Šimko.
According to the SMK, Šimko made a mistake when he announced the corruption information.
Bugár said that the SMK had no problems with the SIS reporting such information, but that it should only inform those who are concerned in the matter.
