Her indignation was over a statement by Lipšic in which he said that a majority of SNS MPs had not confirmed their presence at Wednesday's parliamentary session. Their absence contributed to the postponement of an extraordinary session to discuss the financial aid package to Greece.

"It's a display of cowardice on the part of SNS, which proudly proclaims that it's against providing aid to Greece; yet, on the other hand, the majority of the SNS MPs’ caucus didn't vote and thus made the session null and void," Lipšic said.

Belousovová disagreed, and accused the former justice minister of spreading lies. According to parliamentary records, six SNS MPs out of a total of 18 did not confirm their presence at the extraordinary session. Lipšic replied that he had meant the majority of the SNS parliamentary caucus by his statement, not the majority of the SNS member base. "The majority of the parliamentary caucus means that when six MPs – including the Chairman, whom I saw in the hall – didn't confirm their presence, it's hypocrisy," he added.
