Social partners meeting at the Economic and Social Council were informed about a report on implementation of the government's measures to alleviate the consequences of the global economic and financial crisis. The National Association of Employers (RÚZ) secretary Martin Hošták confirmed this information to the SITA newswire.
The report stated that of the total 38 measures, only four have been fulfilled up to date. They include, for example, elaboration of analyses of the state of preparations and drawing of EU funds in operational programs of the National Strategic Reference Framework, re-evaluation of the public
administration’s budgetary goals for 2009 to 2011, and shortening of the deadline for refunding excessive VAT paid on input from sixty to thirty days.
The Economic and Social Council consists of representatives of trade union and employer organisations and government officials. SITA
