SPANISH company Aluminios Cortizo, producer of aluminium profiles, will invest around €19 million in its new plant in Nová Baňa (Banská Bystrica region), the TASR news wire wrote.
General director of the SARIO investment agency, Roman Kuruc, said the investor plans to create 400 new jobs by the end of 2006. Some 15,000 tons of aluminium a year as of next year should be processed.
The investor is entering the Slovak market via its subsidiary Cortizo Slovakia, which is a member of the Cortizo Group. The group has nine subsidiaries worldwide, and is one of the global leaders in the production and processing of aluminium.
