Pavel Hagyari, the mayor of Prešov, confirmed that the town has launched negotiations with an unnamed Spanish investor, saying the investor plans to spend up to €10 million.

The company reportedly will ask for investment stimuli from the Slovak government that may reach up to 50 percent of the investment, the daily wrote, because the firm will build its plant in a region with a 17-percent unemployment rate.
