A special commission set up by the parliament last week will begin drafting amendments to the Slovak Constitution as of May, Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Pavol Paška announced on April 26.
Paška said the commission's work will not involve opposition parties, as "their caucuses, unfortunately, have not reacted to my initiative. The President's Office, Constitutional Court, Government Office and Academy of Sciences have named their representatives for the commission".
