JUSTICE Minister Daniel Lipšic has recommended a delay for the opening of a special court and special attorney's office that would deal with the corruption of state officials and cases involving the mafia.
The Slovak daily Pravda wrote that the specialised institutions would, according to Lipšic, start working in July rather than May, as originally planned, because there is too little time for the National Security Office to screen all the court's potential judges.
Lipšic also thinks delays may arise because members of parliament must elect the special prosecutors.
