Special Court to continue working until verdict is published in the Code of Laws

The Special Court will continue its activity as before, and will continue to try scheduled cases until yesterday’s verdict by the Constitutional Court – which ruled its establishment unconstitutional – is published in the Code of Laws, the spokesperson of the Special Court Katarína Kudjáková has said.

A case, for example, planned for the Banská Bystrica branch of the Special Court to try a Bratislava judge, Igor Š., who is accused of bribery, will proceed. Lawyer Peter Filip said that the Special Court had no other choice but to continue its operation until the verdict was published. TASR
