SLOVAK Telecom (ST) will create a new company called T-Com for its fixed-line operations. ST is already a mother company of T-Mobile Slovensko, the mobile phone operator, the daily SME reported.

According to the ST president Miroslav Majoroš, Telecom, T-Com, and T-Mobile will still compete with each other. "We will announce a new brand called T-Com for fixed lines next year. Deutsche Telekom [ST' majority shareholder] has a similar [company] architecture."
