The value of the three bids for minority stakes in energy distributors that privatisation commissions have recommended the government accept is about Sk25 billion ($530 million), according to unofficial estimates cited in the daily paper Pravda. The leading candidates for the ZSE, SSE and VSE distributors are the German E.ON (330 million euros), French EdF (160 million euros) and German RWE Plus (127 million euros) respectively.
