In current prices, a GDP of €18.996 billion was produced in the third quarter of this year – which means an increase in 1.1 percent against the same period of 2012, the TASR newswire quoted the ŠÚ. The flash estimate of gross domestic product will be specified and corrected, as well as enhanced in structures of individual items, while the results will be published on December 4.

Economic analysts approached by TASR ascribe the mild increase in pace of growth to foreign demand, while domestic demand continues to lag.
