UNIVERSITY students would start paying tuition fees September 2005 under plans announced by Education Minister Martin Fronc, according to the TASR news agency.
The Minister said November 2 that he would submit the new law on student loans at the beginning of January 2005.
According to Fronc, this law will complete the reform of higher education in Slovakia. Fronc has failed on two previous occasions to get the law passed, the last time being in June 2004.
