ALMOST 200 people from 32 countries are attending this year's three-week Studia Academica Slovaca (SAS), a Slovak language summer school. The course started on August 8 at Comenius University in Bratislava, the TASR news agency wrote.
This year the course not only focusses on learning Slovak language, but also on Slovak culture. Students will visit Bojnice castle in the Trenčín region, Banská Štiavnica in Central Slovakia and the High Tatras.
Apart from students from France, Bulgaria and Lithuania, students come from China, Korea and India.
The country with the most participants is Germany, with 26. The oldest student is a 62-year-old Frenchman, while the youngest is an 18-year-old Spaniard.
