There is no doubt that the Internet has became a part of our everyday life whether you use it at home or you need it for your work or it is just a hobby, used for surfing the web.
A lot of companies have their own web page and it is just a question of time before business via the Internet will take off. But that has already started in a small way with commerce using the internet increasingly popular and in future possibly replacing ordinary shopping in stores.
As the real estate business is a very attractive branch of enterprise the Internet just could not pass it by. If you are interested in buying or renting a property you can simply click on a www server and take a look at millions of homes and apartments on offer.
One of the most interesting property databases around is http://www.realtor.com. Going to this address you can look at more than one milion homes - an incredible number for Slovakia. Depending on what you want you can find a suitable home, choose a pleasant neighbourhood or you can find a specialist realtor who will arrange your transaction.
The real estate market in the USA is rich with offers and very dynamic. It can hardly be compared to any European property market. But searching on the web one can find interesting property databases in western Europe too.
At http://www.web-cei.com, used by members of CEI (Confédération Européenne de l~Immobilier) you can find a multilingual real estate database. The site allows you to choose from eight European languages and as in any database you can choose the type of property, location, price, based on whether you intend to buy or to rent or under any other criteria you have.
