In the poll, around 25 percent of respondents said they read the paper regularly, which indicates a readership of 1.1 million.

The poll also showed that the Pravda daily broadsheet enjoys the second-highest readership with 10 percent of respondents, followed by another broadsheet, the Sme daily, with 9 percent. Next came the Korzár daily with 5 percent, and the Šport daily with 4 percent.

Approximately half of the respondents said that they read a newspaper every day.

The newest daily on the Slovak market, the Plus Jeden Deň tabloid, was not included in the poll, as its first issue came out on September 4, 2006, several weeks after the poll began.
