Cabinet members for the ruling SDKÚ party will today present a demand for the dismissal of the TASR state press agency head, Ivan Čeredejev, for spending more on a car than the law allows, and for defending his actions with vulgar statements.
Čeredejev, who was found to have spent Sk600,000 ($12,800) more on a company BMW than a June 2001 cabinet edict allowed, reportedly said when challenged by journalists “that’s bullshit. Write that statement down, please. It’s bullshit. Write that.”
