Tax and customs revenues exceeded plan by 9.8 percent last year

TAX and customs offices in Slovakia in 2005 collected Sk228.2 billion in revenues, which is 9.8 percent or Sk20.3 billion more than planned for the year.

Tax Bureau spokesman Robert Merva said that tax revenues made up Sk222.6 billion of the collected sum, Sk20.6 billion above expectations, the SITA news agency wrote.

Non-tax revenues, such as administrative fees, made up the remaining Sk5.6 billion, or Sk298.7 million less than planned.
