Teachers still face low pay despite wage growth

On April 24, the Pravda daily reports that the salary of a Slovak teacher should be raised by nearly Sk2,000 as of next year. Teachers will thus earn Sk23,000 on average. The government began discussing teachers’ salaries with trade union this week. SITA
