According to the cabinet's proposal, teachers' wages will consist of two parts, the basic wage and the wage bonus. The new basic wage range will be from Sk8,730 to Sk13,980 (€226 and €361). The wage increases will require an extra Sk660 million (€17million).

According to the draft law, teachers will receive a wage increase every year.
