She is set to depart the police by August 31.

Babacsová took charge of the Gorilla team in December 2019. Marek Gajdoš and Lukáš Kyselica had led the team before. Under her leadership, the investigation—spanning back to 2005—resulted in corruption charges against Jaroslav HašÄŤák, the former head of the Penta financial group, and other key figures implicated in the case.

In December 2020, a police raid took place at Penta’s headquarters. The operation, conducted under Babacsová’s leadership, is currently under investigation by the Interior Ministry’s police inspectorate following a complaint lodged by HašÄŤák.
