Special Prosecutor Dušan Kováčik is one of the people criticising journalists for the information leaks from the murder investigation connected to investigative reporter Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová.
It now seems that he may be in conflict of interests in this case, the Denník N daily reported.
This refers to the communication of Marian Kočner, who stands accused of ordering Kuciak’s murder, encrypted via the Threema app. It suggests that Norbert Bödör, the son of Nitra-based businessman Miroslav Bödör, was a liaison between Kočner and Kováčik.

Moreover, Bödör and Kováčik reportedly met regularly for information, Denník N wrote.
