MOST Slovaks think Viera Tomanová, the embattled Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and the Family, is the least competent member of the current cabinet.
In a recent opinion poll, 28.9 percent of respondents picked Tomanová as the least competent or professionally skilled minister.
Health Minister Ivan Valentovič came second, with 20.1 percent of respondents seeing him as the least competent. Agriculture Minister Miroslav Jureňa was third with 10.2 percent.
Tomanová was also voted as the cabinet member who does the most harm to this government. She was followed by Valentovič (13.5 percent) and Justice Minister Štefan Harabin (9.4 percent).
The most competent minister, according to 27.7 percent of poll respondents, is Interior Minister Róbert Kaliňák. He was closely followed by Prime Minister Robert Fico with 26.1 percent, and Finance Minister Ján Počiatek with 13.9 percent.
Kaliňák, Fico and Počiatek are also seen as making the biggest contributions to the government.
The poll was conducted by the Polis Slovakia polling agency for the M.E.S.A 10 think-tank. It surveyed a sample of 1,020 respondents from September 7 - 9.
