Tougher penalties for drunk drivers who kill

JUSTICE Minister Daniel Lipšic is preparing tougher penalties for drunk drivers who kill people.

The Slovak daily SME wrote that the prepared change to the country's Penal Code would introduce a minimum sentence of three years and a maximum of 10 in such cases. The current jail terms stretch from six months to five years.
