Jozef Kollár from the Slovak Public Administration Trade Union (SLOVES) was elected the new head of the Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) at the organisation's seventh congress in Bratislava on Thursday, November 15, TASR learnt.
Kollár received the support of 92 of the 125 delegates present and will replace Miroslav Gazdík, who decided not to run for re-election. At the same time, Slavomír Manga from the KOVO trade union became KOZ vice-president. The KOZ congress will wind up on Friday, its second day.
