Another drunk policeman, Miroslav Kmeť, 47, of the Banská Bystrica force, wrecked his car on May 21 in an accident that caused no injuries. He was found to have 3.11 parts per thousand of alcohol in his blood stream, and will be dismissed from the force, senior officers said.
The accident is the twelfth this year involving drunk-driving police.
