A company called Lexus Bratislava plans to build and operate two biogas stations to generate electricity in Ožďany in Banská Bystrica Region, the TASR newswire reported.
The estimated cost of each station is €4 million. They are designed to produce electricity from renewable sources - maize silage and sorghum. A by-product will be a type of organic fertilizer.
The electric generators of each station will produce 990 kW of electricity and 985 kW of heat energy. The construction work is set to begin in 2Q12 and is expected to be completed in 2Q13.
