Slovak political parties and coalitions have two weeks left to submit their slates for the early parliamentary election set for March 10, the TASR newswire wrote.
The parties must submit their candidate slates by December 11 to the Central Election Commission (ÚVK), which will hold its first session on December 16 to select its chair and vice-chair.
Parties that wish to register their slate of candidates must pay a deposit of €16,596 and those parties that receive at least 2 percent of the vote will have their deposits refunded while those which do not reach that threshold forfeit their deposits to the state treasury.
