THE REGISTERED unemployment rate in Slovakia fell in October by 0.42 percent to 12.72 percent, the Labour directorate UPSVR announced.
Year-on-year the rate has decreased by 1.2 percent, according to the TASR news agency. The number of registered jobseekers who are immediately available for work was down by 11,000 from the previous month to 333,115.
The total number of registered unemployed was 370,753 at the end of October, representing an unemployment rate of 14.16 percent.
