The spokesperson for the Interior Ministry's press department, officer Natália Hattalová, told the Hospodárske noviny daily that the ministry is interested in tapping these funds.

The director of border protection and immigration, Michal Borgula, says that his division is looking forward to using the funds. "We need these finances to ensure partial protection of the EU’s borders from the air," he said.

Borgula plans to use the finances to purchase two new helicopters, improve technical equipment of airports and organize employees' training.
