STATE institutions – ministries and various offices live mainly from the people who earn the most. A tenth of working people in Slovakia earn incomes that pay for one third of the costs needed for the functioning of the state.
The financial relationship between households and state coffers depends on the level of income and the number of children.
The Hospodárske noviny daily looked at four types of households. It found out that it is well-paid, unmarried employees with no children who are the greatest financial contributors to the state.
