"You joined NATO, and the EU, and large foreign investments started arriving in the country," said Weiser.

According to Weiser, Slovakia is the best place for foreign investments in Europe, a message he also communicated to big US investors throughout his term.

Weiser said Slovakia is one of the best US allies, a relationship that will be reflected in changes in the US visa regime towards Slovaks. He added that the US visa legislation will change next year and Slovaks will no longer need a visa to go to the US.
