THE US automotive industry supplier TRW has begun construction on a Sk800-900 million factory in Bytča in northwestern Slovakia to produce plastic components for KIA Motors Slovakia, PSA Peugeot Citroen and the German BMW.
The factory should be completed in 2008, Bytča Mayor Peter Korec told the Pravda daily.
"The first part of the factory will start production in the first half of next year, creating 250 to 300 jobs. After the second part is completed in 2008, around 700 people should work there," Korec said.
