US Ambassador to Slovakia Ronald Weisser said, "The Slovak Republic and the United States have a great interest in controlling the international transfer of all materials which can be used in the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction, and so can help terrorists."

As part of the package, in the next few months, the US will also be providing the border service with night vision gear and advanced computer equipment with the 'tracker' database and monitoring system, as well as worker training in the use of these technologies.
