The American father of a little girl whose Slovak mother kidnapped her to Bratislava in 1998 has appealed a Bratislava district court decision leaving Emily Izykowska in her mother’s hands.
The father, who tried once before to take his daughter from a Bratislava street but was foiled by Slovak police, now takes his case to Bratislava region court.
A US court gave custody of Emily to the father after the couple’s divorce in the 1990s.
