US firm to create 350 jobs in Lučenec

US company Johnson Controls will build a new plant employing 350 people in the southern Slovak town of Lučenec as of 2007.

The plant will produce foam padding for use in cars and represents a €20 million (Sk770 million) investment by the company.

An additional 100-150 jobs should be created within the supply scheme, according to Economy Minister Pavol Rusko, the Hospodárske noviny business daily reported.
