President Ivan Gašparovič received a letter of congratulations from the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, on the occasion of Slovakia’s Constitution Day, a national holiday that is celebrated on September 1, reported Elena Bianchi from the press department of the Office of the Slovak President to the SITA newswire.
“Mr. President, on behalf of the American people, I am honoured to send you and the citizens of the Slovak Republic greetings on the occasion of your national holiday on September 1,” Obama wrote in the letter of congratulations.
