US thanks Slovak troops for defusing bomb-laden truck in Afghanistan

Marie L. Yovanovitch, deputy assistant secretary at the US State Department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, has thanked Slovak soldiers in Afghanistan for defusing an explosive device during an unsuccessful attack by militants on an allied base in Kandahar, the TASR newswire reported on November 8.
