Two of the three companies whose bids to head up the information campaign for Slovakia's adoption of the euro were rejected by the Finance Ministry appealed to the Procurement Office (ÚVO) on August 27.
ÚVO spokesperson Helena Fialová announced that "assuming the proceedings continued uninterrupted, the office will make a decision on this issue by September 27, 2007".
The Finance Ministry, which organised the tender, is now required to send all relevant documents to ÚVO by August 31. Fialová added that it is in the interest of the tender organiser to deliver the documents on time, so the review proceedings are not overly protracted or otherwise interrupted.
The ministry rejected three tenders for the campaign on August 22 before deciding on a final one. The decision on the tenders is now up to ÚVO. TASR
