CURRENCY dealers are leaving the Central European currencies and flocking to the US dollar, according to the Národná Obroda daily.
The Slovak crown dropped yesterday to Sk39 to the euro and may drop even further. That means the crown is down Sk2.50 from its historical high of Sk37.50 to the euro just two weeks ago.
The Slovak crown also weakened against the dollar, down to 29.380/320 crowns to the dollar at yesterday’s close, according to the daily.
