The biggest online employment agencies in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland have agreed to pool their Internet databases, the daily SME wrote. The Visegrad Four alliance will effectively combine the announcements of jobs.cz, profesia.sk, pracuj.pl and proffesion.hu.
According to the international marketing consultancy, Taylor Nelson Sofres, the Web is one of the most productive tools for finding a job. Slovakia’s profesia.sk estimates that than three-fourths of its visitors find work through its site.
The alliance is considering expanding its server to include agencies from other countries. Of the four web sites, pracuj.pl has the largest number of employment listings at 30 thousand.
