Citizens of EU member states with residency permits in Slovakia who registered before April 27 can vote in the European Parliament (EP) elections for Slovak candidates.
Some EU countries allow their citizens to vote outside their home country, at their embassies. In Bratislava, citizens of the following countries can vote at their embassies in the EP elections: Belgium (voters are required to register in advance), Bulgaria, Spain, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia.
Citizens of Germany and the Netherlands can vote by mail.
Cyprus, Greece, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Malta will allow their citizens to vote at their consulates or embassies in Vienna.
The embassies of the Czech Republic, the UK and Ireland will not be providing voting facilities for their citizens.
Other EU countries' embassies did not provide information about voting opportunities for their citizens.
